DANISH IMMIGRATION MUSEUM

Danish Immigration Museum is located in Farum, a suburb of Copenhagen and is a relevant and modern museum of the history of immigration to Denmark.

The new permanent exhibition was declared open on January 27th 2012 by the Danish minister for Gender Equality and Ecclesiastical Affairs, Manu Sareen.

The new exhibition provides visitors with an insight into the people who, in the course of history, have come to Denmark.
The Museum is located centrally in the Farum Cultural Centre sharing the building with other cultural institutions such as a cinema, a gallery, a library and a music school.

Danish Immigration Museum is a part of the state authorised Furesø Museums, which also runs local museums, local archives and city archives.
